The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia issued Decree Number 0728 on April 13, 2012, which governs the tariff rate quota for rice under the Colombia-United States Trade Promotion Agreement.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia has issued Resolution 000335 that recognizes COL-RICE as the U.S. Exprort Trading Company with the authority to allocate the tariff rate quota for rice under the Colombia-United States Trade Promotion Agreement.
The Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN – Colombian Customs Authority) has issued requirements for import including necessary declarations.
